My Sister's Unusual Pet

My sister has a most unusual pet, but she loves it more than anything.

She has entrusted me to take care of it while she runs some errands. I haven't interacted with it much, but I hope I can form a connection with it while she is away.

I will have to feed it, play games, and even clean up after it. If I do something it doesn't like, it will get mad at me.

Bugs and issues

As this was a game jam submission, I cannot edit the game until after the judging submission is over. Once judging is over, the original version will be available as a download while further updates will be reflected on the game page above.

The instructions for the swimming minigame are incorrectly copied from the dancing game. To play the dancing minigame, click the left mouse button as quickly as possible to swim farther and gain more points.

If you click a button too quickly or multiple times during a screen transition, there is a high chance that the game will soft-lock. To avoid this bug, wait until the scene is finished fading in before clicking anything.

Extra Creditz Game Jam

This game was created for Extra Creditz Game Jam #4. The theme of this jam was "Connect." After some thinking, I recalled my cat Enzo and how connected I was to him. Thus the idea of forming an emotional connection with a creature was born.
